Every degree your hot tub loses overnight is a degree your heater has to work to replace — and that adds up fast on running costs. The Lay-Z-Spa EnergySense Thermal Hot Tub Cover keeps the heat in and makes your inflatable hot tub up to 40% more energy efficient, so you spend less on running costs and more time actually enjoying your spa.
Its double layer of thermal insulation improves heat retention and lets you heat the water faster. It's made from ultra-strong, 3-ply, UV-resistant and fully water-repellent Duraplus material with double-stitched seams, built to handle real outdoor exposure rather than fold under a season of sun and rain. Safety lock clips and adjustable straps keep it firmly secured in all weather conditions, giving a snug fit that's essential for effective heat retention — a loose cover simply lets the heat you're paying for drift straight out the sides.
How much does this actually save on running costs?
- Up to 40% better energy efficiency from double-layer thermal insulation
- Faster heat-up times from improved heat retention
- Weatherproof construction stands up to sun, rain and wind year-round
- Secure strap and clip system keeps the cover in place even in windy conditions
Will this fit my hot tub?
This cover fits square hot tubs up to 201cm x 201cm x 85cm, including the Lay-Z-Spa Palma Hydrojet Pro, Maldives Hydrojet Pro and other compatible square spas. Check your model's dimensions before ordering to confirm a proper fit.
Is this a genuine Lay-Z-Spa part?
Yes — this is a genuine Lay-Z-Spa accessory designed for a precise, snug fit, rather than a generic universal cover that may not seal as effectively.
Is this suitable for winter contrast therapy or year-round use?
Ideal for anyone running hot-to-cold contrast routines or keeping a hot tub active through winter, the combination of thick insulation and a locked-down, weatherproof shell means less heat lost between sessions and a spa that's ready faster when you want it.
