Picture your hot tub still steaming when you step out to it on a cold evening, instead of losing its warmth to the night air the moment the lid comes off. The Lay-Z-Spa EnergySense Thermal Hot Tub Cover (X-Large, 216cm x 80cm) is built to keep that heat exactly where you paid for it — in the water, not drifting off into your garden.
Every degree your hot tub loses overnight is a degree your heater has to earn back before your next soak, and that's electricity you're paying for twice. This round cover is engineered with double-layer thermal insulation, sandwiching air between two protective layers to slow heat loss dramatically compared to leaving your spa uncovered. Wrapped around that insulation is a durable, weather-resistant outer shell that shrugs off rain, leaves, and garden debris, so you're not fishing bugs out of the water before every session. There's no fiddly strapping or tooling involved either — it simply fits over the top of your hot tub, so covering up between soaks takes seconds rather than becoming a chore you skip.
How much energy can this cover save me?
The double-layer insulation makes your hot tub up to 40% more energy efficient to heat, which translates directly into a lower electricity spend keeping the water at temperature between uses.
Will this fit my round Lay-Z-Spa hot tub?
This cover is purpose-built for round hot tubs measuring 216cm x 80cm. Measure your spa's diameter and depth before ordering to confirm a snug, heat-trapping fit.
Is this suitable for year-round outdoor use?
Yes — the weather-resistant outer material is designed to stay outdoors through every season, making this cover a genuinely residential-grade upgrade for hot tubs used through autumn and winter, not just a fair-weather accessory.
Is it easy to put on and take off between soaks?
Since it simply fits over the top with no fixings or tools required, it's ideal for households who use their hot tub regularly and don't want an insulation upgrade that adds hassle to every session.
