Say goodbye to that greasy ring around your hot tub waterline — without reaching for a bottle of chemicals every time it appears. The ClearWater® AbsorbaBall™ floats on the surface of your water, quietly soaking up the body oils, sun cream and lotions that cause scum lines, so your hot tub stays clearer for longer with far less scrubbing.
This is a genuine ClearWater® accessory, designed to save you on both chemicals and cleaning time while helping to prolong the lifespan of your filters. Unlike single-use absorbent pads, each ball is reusable — simply wash it, let it dry, and put it straight back to work. Consistent use keeps hot tub or pool water clean, clear and inviting for longer between full cleans.
What does the AbsorbaBall actually remove?
- Body lotion and moisturiser residue
- Hair products
- Sunscreen
- Make-up
- General body oils
How does it work?
Simply drop the balls onto the water surface and let them float. They continuously absorb oils and contaminants as they collect, helping to prevent foaming and stop an unsightly scum ring from forming around the waterline.
Is this suitable for inflatable hot tubs and above-ground pools?
Yes — the AbsorbaBall is ideal for inflatable hot tub owners and above-ground pool owners alike, giving filters an easier job by capturing oils before they reach the filtration system.
